On June 6th, 2003, artist and designer Aaron St.Goddard created the design of the bizarre green alien critter known as 'Bunchies' (always plural, never singular!). They have a homeworld, and now they’re on Earth.

With help from fellow artist Roel van Matsbergen, Bunchies was brought to life in the form of an animated gif and given the ability to gallop and frolic in motion, becoming an instant viral sensation online and one of the earliest and most popular internet memes.

They continue to live on as legend and pure happiness, bringing joy to a new generation.
